Most of the voices are also low quality, so while it may be "nostalgic" to some spanish people, it is kind of annoying to us EU/US fanbase. Cant switch that out, i have no idea how to.
Most of the mods now have latin voices now lol.
This is ignored by the PPSSPP emulator, but makes the PSP system crash.Įvery mod I've ever tried has this, and I always had to patch it manually. On floor zero there are indications on what resources are one each floor.įor example, on floor 1 theres audio effects, on floor 2 theres textures, on floor 3 theres the model and so on (there are like a 100 floors or more for each character in game).Ī lot of mods actually BREAK these floor zero indications by putting a lot of 0's where there should be the inteded indication. Mods (and the real game) work much like a tower. The PSP system and the PPSSPP emulator work A LOT differently as the PSP system is a lot more prone to crashes. You know how emulators are never close to the real thing right? Because sometime they skip through errors and shit. I guess removing this one file fucks their hexadecimal values up.
I asked some modders to "please make it psp compatible kindly" but nobody gave a fuck. Have I ever tried it? no, because im too tired for that shit lol.
Is there any fix for this? Yeah, theorically you could patch the eboot.bin by overwriting it with the eboot.old by HxD (again, hexadecimal editing). So, Modders decied to make their games BROKEN on purpose. To steal a mod, you would have to essentially open it up with UMDGEN. Modders always have had their mods stolen by big channels like "DBZ MODS" who make shitty videos with stolen mods. Now, you can patch it out with UMDGEN (Just remove EBOOT.BIN and replace it with EBOOT.OLD by renaming it), although its never guaranteed. Here's the real reason why:įor some kind of reason, ALL of these iso mods have the old prometheus patch on them, making them unplayable on our PSP systems. Unfortunately, only a few work on the PSP. I've always tried to make mods PSP compatible as I play them on my PSVITA (I had to make my own mod with parts ripped from other uncompatible mods). I'm a DBZTTT (its dragonball z tenkaichi tag team, for anyone that doesnt know) modder myself. TLDR at the end, very long comment in here. I'll save you the headache (and the trouble). Oh, you're going to get yourself in a long rabbit hole.
